Because they can sneak through surprisingly tiny holes, rodents find it easy to get into houses, which is why you have to take action to get rid of and prevent them. BugBros Pest Control offers rodent control services and surrounding areas to eliminate any active infestations you have in your home and prevent them from entering in the future.
Initial Treatment
On your initial treatment, we will place large exterior rodent bait stations that are about a foot by a foot, weighed down with a concrete paver, and require a special key to open so kids and pets can’t access them. They are essentially large rodent feeding stations that hold up to eight blocks of bait each. We may place some interior rodent bait stations as well that also require a special key to open in secondary access areas where dropping are present, like underneath sinks, hot water heater closets, etc.
In addition to installing exterior rodent bait boxes, we will seal the plumbing protrusions on the exterior of your home. The area where your AC line enters your home is one of the most common entry points for rodents. We may seal some additional ground level rodent entry points as well.
At the time of your initial treatment we will also treat for general pests like ants, spiders, beetles, crickets, and wasps.
One Month Follow-Up
After one month we will return to bait and monitor rodent bait stations and complete a follow up general pest service. This follow-up treatment allows us to monitor how the initial treatment is working and make any adjustments necessary at the time (much better than waiting 2 to 3 months).
Recurring Treatment
From there we will move onto quarterly general pest and rodent treatments. While most of the time, the two initial visits will handle the rodent issue, it is not uncommon to need a third visit to refill baits and get the rodents under control.
